Lazar is named
‘Leader in the Law’
Wisconsin Department of Justice Assistant Attorney General Maria S. Lazar has been named a 2015 “Leader in the Law” by the Wisconsin Law Journal. She received the award March 18 in Milwaukee.
Lazar graduated from Georgetown University Law Center. After practicing in a private firm in Milwaukee, she joined the DOJ in 2010.
According to a news release sent to The Chronicle from the DOJ, the annual awards program “recognizes 20 top attorneys and judges for their career achievements; commitments to pro bono, mentorship and community; and advancement of the legal profession.”
