Leabman to retire from Jewish Family Services

Jewish Family Services announced on March 9 that Sylvan Leabman, president/CEO, has informed the board of directors of his plan to retire on Dec. 31.

The board has formed a search committee to identify a new president/CEO and Steven Zimmerman, first vice chair of the board, has agreed to serve as the committee chair. The committee will use the board-approved succession planning process as their guideline for recruiting and hiring the new executive.

Leabman has held the post for the past 12 years.
