Wiemer has three stories in award-nominated book

Milwaukeean Liza Wiemer has her experiences included in the recently published anthology “Small Miracles from Beyond: Dreams, Visions and Signs that Link Us to the Other Side.”

The book is the eighth in the “Small Miracles” series published by Sterling Ethos. Its authors, Yitta Halberstam and Judith Leventhal, present “50 true stories about deceased relatives coming to loved ones in dreams to offer guidance and warnings, the power of prayer, near-death experiences, reincarnation, signs that our loved ones are watching us still and are our aggressive intercessors,” according to a letter by Halberstam that Wiemer shared with The Chronicle.

Wiemer said in an email that her contributions to the book are three stories involving her grandparents, Lena and Jack Goldberg.

This book has recently been named a finalist in the 19th annual “Books for a Better Life” Awards of the New York City-Southern New York chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

The awards honor the year’s best self-improvement books. They will be presented March 23 in New York City.
