MJF personnel change roles

The Milwaukee Jewish Federation in October changed the roles of several staff members and hired one new person.

Rabbi Hannah Greenstein is now “Vice President-Outreach, Israel and Overseas.” This change reflects a greater focus on the MJF Israel Center, which creates connections between the people of Israel and Milwaukee through cultural, professional, educational and travel experiences. Greenstein still oversees the MJF outreach activities by supervising a new outreach coordinator.

Noach Jubelirer has taken on the position of “Development Officer and Agency Liaison,” a new role at the MJF. He has become part of the financial resource development team, where he will work on the annual campaign and on cultivating relationships with donors. He will continue to manage the allocations process and to serve as liaison to MJF’s partner agencies.

Lauren Berger has been promoted to the position of “Young Leadership Director.” In her new role, she is responsible for working with the young adult community and developing a program incorporating engagement, educational, civic, leadership development and philanthropic activities for this age group.

Jake Velleman has joined the MJF as “Outreach Coordinator.” Jake will be responsible for managing outreach programs including Shalom Baby, Shalom Milwaukee, One Happy Camper and MilwaukeeChaverim.
