YES imparts Torah values

Yeshiva Elementary School seeks to impart Torah values and foster a love for Judaism to students in K4 through eighth grade.

YES is a stimulating and supportive environment where children excel in both Jewish and general studies. They receive the tools they need to live active Jewish lives, while simultaneously preparing for an advanced education.

Founded in 1989, YES has grown to more than 180 students from more than 75 families. The school is a part of the fabric of the west side Sherman Park neighborhood — a school so compelling that families move to Milwaukee so their children can attend.

The YES campus earned a national architectural award for its design elements after its 2001 expansion and renovation. The combined aesthetics of space, color and light are designed to uplift the spirit, enhance moods and inspire creative learning. It is a place where children are not only educated but also nurtured.

Dovid Zigun is a YES graduate who is currently pursuing a master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology. “My parents sent me to YES knowing that I wouldn’t need to choose between general and Judaic studies,” Zigun said. “I received the Judaic education they expected, while my strong general education set me up for academic success.”

Under the tutelage of licensed and fully qualified teachers and staff, YES students consistently demonstrate a steadfast spirit of achievement in all of their studies. YES is fully accredited by the North Central Commission on Accreditation.
