Chana Milchtein celebrated becoming a bat mitzvah on March 14 at Milwaukee Synagogue for Russian Jews. She is the daughter of Ester Riva and Rabbi Alexander Milchtein and is the sister of Chaya Mushka, 16, Yehudis, 14, Soreh Malkeh, 13, Menucha Rochel, 10, Dvorah Leah, 9, Raizl, 7, Yechiel, 5, Sheina Brocha, 3, Yisroel, 1 and Odel, 2 weeks.
The maternal grandmother is Chava Kokin of Bainbridge Island, Wash. The paternal grandparents are Asya Ischenko and Zinoviy Milshtein of Moscow, Russia.
Chana is a student at Beis Chaya Mushka.
