The maternal grandparents are Robin and Gary Brin of Scottsdale, Ariz. Susan and Steven Schneiderman of Bayside are the paternal grandparents.
The maternal great-grandmother is Marilyn Evins of Scottsdale. Sally Riba of Tampa, Fla., is the paternal great-grandmother.
The baby is named in memory of her maternal great-grandmother, Riva Brin, and her paternal great-grandfather, Mendel Riba.
