A daughter, Ella Rose (Hebrew name Elisheva Rachel), was born Feb. 11 to Tracy Lynn and Jonathan Kessler Friedman of Atlanta. She is their first child.
The maternal grandparents are Arlene and Herb Buchwald of Denver. Sarah-ann Kessler Friedman of Mequon and Michael Friedman of Whitefish Bay are the paternal grandparents.
The paternal great-grandmothers are Rosalind Kessler of Sarasota, Fla., and Cera Gordon of Chicago.
The baby is named in memory of her great-great aunt Rose.
