Ruth Plotkin

Milwaukee native Ruth Plotkin, nee Moskowitz, of Franklin died March 21. She was 76.
She graduated magna cum laude from North Division High School in 1947.

She was a member of Women’s American ORT, Hadassah and Pioneer Women/NA’AMAT. According to her family, she loved to play mahjong and bingo.

Preceded in death by son Jeffrey Plotkin and brothers Abraham, Leon, Menachem and Dr. Joseph Moskowitz, she is survived by son Neal (Nancy) Plotkin, of Glendale; daughter Rhonda Plotkin of Milwaukee; brothers Chaim (Margalit) Moskowitz of Anaheim, Calif., Dr. Irving (Cherna) Moskowitz, of Miami, Milton (Betty) Moskowitz of Seal Beach, Calif., and Louis (Charlotte) Moskowitz, of Long Beach, Calif; sister Pearl (Leonard) Parker of Lakewood, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Rabbi Shari Shamah and Cantor Jerome Berkowitz officiated at funeral services March 24. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
