After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in political science and Arabic, he made Aliyah and joined the IDF with the program Garin Tzabar in August 2012. His group of 27 lone soldiers lived on Kibbutz Urim in the southern Eshkol region that borders Gaza. In December 2012, he joined an elite combat unit in the Intelligence Corps. After two meaningful years, he finished his service and currently works in Israel’s booming startup industry.
