The Jewish Caucus of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin has endorsed Democratic gubernatorial candidate David Crowley following his primary-election victory, calling the result a historic milestone and pledging support for his campaign heading into the general election.
In a statement released by caucus co-chairs Ann Jacobs and Dustin Klein, the group praised Crowley’s record as Milwaukee County executive, noting that he became the county’s youngest and first Black executive when elected in 2020 and was re-elected in 2024 with 85% of the vote. The caucus highlighted his work on bipartisan revenue reform under Act 12, property tax reductions, affordable housing initiatives, and eviction-prevention efforts.
The statement said Crowley has demonstrated an ability to deliver results in divided government and expressed confidence that he would bring the same approach to the governor’s office if elected in November. The caucus also recognized the other Democratic candidates who participated in the primary and thanked them for uniting behind Crowley after the election.
