Honorary sign for Rabbi Michel Twerski is posted

The city of Milwaukee posted an honorary street sign declaring Rabbi Michel Twerski Blvd., beneath the official North 51st Boulevard sign. The sign is steps away from Congregation Beth Jehudah, 3100 N. 52nd St., and the much of the Orthodox community it serves. Rabbi Michel Twerski leads the congregation. Generations of Twerski rabbis have been served, and still serve, the community in the Sherman Park neighborhood. The sign was posted in recent weeks, not at the request of the Twerskis, but at the request of a congregant. Photo by Rob Golub.
