Milwaukee Jewish Community Chorale’s concert with Dave Schlossberg set for June 7
Pianist and composer Dave Schlossberg will be the featured guest artist at the Milwaukee Jewish Community Chorale’s concert on June 7, 2026.
Known for his expressive style and evocative arrangements, Schlossberg will bring his unique musical artistry to the Milwaukee stage, collaborating with the Chorale to present a memorable afternoon of music, according to a press release. Schlossberg is an award-winning musician from Monroe, New Jersey.
The Milwaukee Jewish Community Chorale is an independent performing arts group, bringing together singers from Milwaukee’s Jewish community to present a variety of traditional and contemporary Jewish choral music.
Schlossberg bridges secular and religious musical styles. His 2017 debut solo album, “A Place Beyond Words,” won a medal at the Global Music Awards. The music was inspired by the melodies of Jewish liturgy.
“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Dave Schlossberg to our stage,” said Enid Bootzin Berkovits, artistic director of the Milwaukee Jewish Community Chorale. “His ability to interpret and arrange music with such profound feeling makes him the perfect partner for this concert.”
The performance will feature a repertoire designed to inspire, highlighting Schlossberg’s compositions performed by the voices of the Chorale.
The Milwaukee Jewish Community Chorale Spring Concert will be held June 7, 2026, 3 p.m., at Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun, 2020 West Brown Deer Road, Milwaukee. Admission is free. The concert will also be livestreamed on the website: MilwaukeeJewishCommunityChorale.org
