Embassy employees honored at Washington embassy memorial 

On July 10, 2025, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara attended a memorial at the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C., honoring embassy staff Sarah Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky, who were murdered in an antisemitic attack. Joined by the victims’ families, embassy staff, and Ambassador Yechiel Leiter, the event commemorated the couple. Lischinsky had planned to propose to Milgrim but never got the chance.
