Women and objects
“Bezalel’s Daughter: How Jewish Women Make Objects” Without Jewish American women, we would have no Barbie dolls, far less modern art, and less-interesting ritual objects. Through the stories of women artists, crafters, and other creators, this talk sheds light on Jewish American life by focusing on how people create objects and how those objects, in turn, shape the people who create and make use of them. Playgroup
“Mazel Tots Milwaukee Playgroup.” Designed for Jewish families with young children, this playgroup is an opportunity to engage with other parents and connect with Jewish professional staff and clergy. Kickoff event will include a Jewish parenting perspective speaker, milestone activities, and a board book take-home kit.
