John Skittone and Aaron A. Karan flew 613 miles, for the number of commandments, in an outline of the Star of David and the bars of the flag of Israel. The flight, which carried Karan’s father’s Torah over southeast Wisconsin, was in honor of Simchat Torah and the lives lost in the terror attacks of Oct. 7. Karan encourages donations to help the victims of terror at MilwaukeeJewish.org/israel-emergency
