Jewish Family Services promotes Kevin Boland

The longstanding non-profit, Jewish Family Services, recently promoted Kevin Boland to vice president of programs and services. Boland joined the organization in 2018 and served as the director of social services for the past five years.

During his previous role, Boland successfully implemented mental health and substance use disorder programs for youth and adult clientele, according to the non-profit.

As Boland steps into his new position, he plans to focus on creating and expanding existing partnerships in an effort to bolster both Jewish-based and community-wide programs. His responsibilities will include cultivating JFS’s outpatient mental health clinic, case management services, and immigrant and Holocaust survivor programs.

“It’s important that we serve the community in ways that allow individuals, our children, families and seniors to feel safe, that their needs are being met, and support their journey to independence with dignity,” Boland said in a news release.

Before his tenure at JFS, Boland worked various positions at Milwaukee County Child Protective Services for almost a decade. He currently teaches at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee Helen Bader School of Social Welfare.
