The Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center brought 225 patients from Children’s Wisconsin to the Albert & Ann Deshur JCC Rainbow Day Camp in Fredonia for “Rainbow Camp” during the week of Aug. 14-18. Kids spent time doing things all other campers do – swimming, boating, nature expeditions, arts and crafts, and a myriad of other activities – far away from illness or hospitals. Volunteers from Northwestern Mutual worked alongside camp staff and medical professionals to deliver a day of fun, sun and smiles.
