IN PICTURES: Touch-a-Truck Festival 

Disposal and fire trucks lined the JCC parking lot, while around the corner on the JCC lawn, information booths, food trucks, a bounce house and a mini truck race course lined the lawn. 

Casimir plays with a remote-controlled truck at the JCC’s “Touch A Truck” event. The track and trucks were one of several interactive elements for kids to play with at the event. 
Let’s get into that Whitefish Bay Waste Services truck!  
Aiden and mom play on the back of a firetruck. Firefighters and police officers were at the event to talk to the kids about the trucks and their jobs.

Touch-a-Truck Festival 

The kids were climbing in truck cabs, pounding away at horns and twisting steering wheels with vigor, with parents dutifully watching. It was the July 20, 2023, Touch-a-Truck Festival, outside at the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center, 6255 N. Santa Monica Blvd., Whitefish Bay. Photos by Orly Boland.
