Samantha Abramson, executive director of the Nathan and Esther Pelz Holocaust Education Resource Center, a program of Milwaukee Jewish Federation, has joined the Wexner Field Fellowship, where she is to obtain new leadership skills and discuss pressing issues impacting the Jewish community.
The Wexner Foundation is an organization which aims to create a diverse group of Jewish leaders where they are to be trained with professional skills.
The Wexner Foundation’s Wexner Field Fellowship is a three-year program in which 15 individuals join together for mutual learning. Each individual is selected based on their experiences in Jewish careers including social work, national and local organizations, and education.
“The need to support emerging professional leaders in the Jewish ecosystem has never been more pressing,” said president of The Wexner Foundation, Rabbi B. Elka Abrahmson. “From year to year, our candidates make clear to us that our field is richly blessed.”
The announcement of this new class marks its seventh round of professionals in the fellowship.
