El-Al has announced their new nonstop flight from Chicago to Tel Aviv beginning in March of 2020.
Flights will arrive at O’Hare International Airport on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:30 p.m., according to The Jerusalem Post. When going back to Tel Aviv, flights will depart the same day and arrive at Ben Gurion Airport at 2:10 p.m.
“The new route between Chicago and Israel is proof that our investment in O’Hare International Airport is paying off, as more people around the world want to come to Chicago than ever before,” former Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel said, according to The Jerusalem Post.
“I don’t believe there is a better way to connect the State of Israel to Chicago than direct flights between Chicago’s airport and Ben Gurion Airport,” Aviv Ezra, consul-general of Israel to the Midwest said, according to The Jerusalem Post.
Flights are to begin in March 2020.
