Mystery photo subjects identified

 Mystery photo subjects identified It turns out the people who appeared in the “mystery photograph” that was the Chronicling History picture in the September Wisconsin Jewish Chronicle were not so mysterious. Rabbi Chaim Twerski came to the Milwaukee Jewish Federation building in early September to claim the photograph, taken by Harold Saichek. He said the people in it are his father, Rabbi Benzion Twerski, at age 7, and his great-grandfather, Rabbi Yaakov Yisroel Twerski, at age 72. Rabbi Chaim Twerski also reported that Saichek “loved taking pictures of the family,” and that many Saichek photos are owned by Twerski family members.
