Tony Spolar, artist and owner of Spolar Studio, will speak about the design and creation of “The Ten Commandments,” the artwork on permanent display in the Jewish Home and Care Center’s Rubenstein Pavilion, on Friday, Aug. 14, 1:30 p.m.
On Wednesday, Aug. 12, 6:45 p.m., Bob Balderson and Jack Forbes-Wilson are scheduled to perform “The Songs of Harry Warren.”
James Slauson, professor of art history and humanities at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, will present a lecture on the great Renaissance sculptor and painter Michelangelo on Thursday, Aug. 20, 1:30 p.m.
Lisa Gorelick, RN, owner of Healthier Home-Healthier You and known as “Lollipop Lisa,” will present one of her “Healthy Living” talks on Thursday, Aug. 27 at 3:00 p.m. Please do not wear fragrances to this presentation.
On Friday, Aug. 28, at 1:30 p.m., the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music presents an afternoon of French chamber music.
