Berney is new director of Madison JSS

Dawn Berney will become the new executive director of the Jewish Social Services of Madison on Sept. 1, according to the July issue of the Madison Jewish News.

   Berney earned her undergraduate degree in political science at the University of Chicago and a Master of Public Administration degree from Syracuse University.

   According to the article, she has served on the JSS board and as president of Congregation Shaarei Shamayim, and she and her family have been volunteers at Oakwood Village’s monthly Shabbat services.
