Passing their goal

On June 3, third grade students from the Milwaukee Jewish Day School visited Katy’s Kloset to donate the funds they raised through the school year. The organization allows families in need to use the right medical equipment free of charge. To collect funds for this cause, students solicited donors, sold key chains, held coin wars in school and shared their experiences with the community. They surpassed their goal of $1,800 and as of May 29, raised $1,936 — the amount they show in this photo provided by Cristy Milrud/MJDS.
