Law journal honors Fleming

   The Wisconsin Law Journal has chosen attorney Miriam S. Fleming as a 2015 Women in the Law Award recipient.

   Fleming works for Michael Best & Friedrich LLP in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. She has more than 30 years of experience in business and the law. She was honored at an event June 11 at The Pfister Hotel.

   The annual award recognizes 30 top female attorneys for their achievements in the field and who have paved the way for other women to succeed in law practice.

 
Hotz is administrator
at Waukesha synagogue

   Marcy Hotz has been hired as administrator by Congregation Emanu-El of Waukesha.

   Hotz is a former president of CEEW’s board of trustees. She will work with clergy, the religious school principal, the board of directors and committee chairs to ensure smooth functioning of the synagogue.

   Hotz spent many years in the administrative field, working for companies such as Badger Meter, Baraboo Sysco Foods and General Electric, as well as at Milwaukee City Hall where she worked with both the Common Council president and former Mayor Henry Maier. She retired last year after 18 years at GE Healthcare in Waukesha.
