The Milwaukee Jewish Artists Laboratory will open its new exhibit on the theme of “Living Waters” on Wednesday, June 3, in the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center, 6255 N. Santa Monica Blvd.
An opening reception will be held on Thursday, June 4, 6:30 p.m, with a brief program beginning at 7:15 p.m. The exhibit runs through July 31.
The lab brings together nearly two dozen area artists in different media to create Jewish art and offer invigorating forms of Jewish engagement. This year’s theme is “water” and is based on a year of communal study and exploration. It is made possible by support from the Covenant Foundation.
