JFS to honor three at ‘Luncheon of Champions’

          Jewish Family Services will hold its annual spring “Luncheon of Champions” on Tuesday, June 2, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Discovery World, 500 N. Harbor Dr. in downtown Milwaukee.

          JFS will present awards to three institutions that “work hard to advocate for better lives for JFS clients and members of the community,” according to a JFS news release. They are:

          • Bartolotta Restaurant Group/Care-A-Lotta; award accepted by Joe Bartolotta, owner/president, and Jennifer Bartolotta, director.

          • Local Initiatives Support Corporation Milwaukee; award accepted by Leo Ries, executive director.

          • Aurora Health Care; award accepted by Nick Turkal, M.D., president and CEO.

          The luncheon starts with registration, a raffle and a silent auction. Lunch will begin at noon with the program and awards ceremony to follow.
