The Alternative Health Series begins Thursday, March 12, 3 p.m. with Laura Wall introducing Emotional Freedom Techniques. The second EFT session will take place on Thursday, March 19, 3 p.m.
The series continues on Thursday, March 26, 3 p.m., with an introduction to Feldenkrais presented by Susan Nycz, GCFP.
On Monday, March 30, 1:30 p.m., Susan Lubar Solvang presents a program on “Mindfulness.”
Magician/escape artist Harry Houdini is the subject of an interactive program hosted by magician and author William Pack on Tuesday, March 17, 3 p.m.
Michael Sattell, CPA, president and CEO of the Jewish Home and Care Center, is also a forensic accountant and certified fraud examiner. He presents a program about “Elder Fraud” on Thursday, March 19, 1:30 p.m.
On Sunday, March 22, 3 p.m., the Milwaukee Jewish Community Chorale performs.
Amit Yaniv-Zehavi, emissary (shlichah) from Israel to the Milwaukee Jewish Federation’s Israel Center, presents “Israeli Cooking” on Wednesday, March 25, 3 p.m.
The Classic Jewish Film Series continues on Monday, March 30, 7 p.m., with a screening of “Funny Girl” about comedienne Fanny Brice. Rachel Baum, Ph.D.; coordinator of the Sam and Helen Stahl Center for Jewish Studies and adjunct assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, will share insights and analysis about the film on Tuesday, March 31, 3 p.m.
