The 11 graduates of Milwaukee’s Washington High School inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame this past October included Michael Feldman and Jeffrey M. Steren.
Feldman, who graduated in 1966, wrote, performed and hosted Washington’s Tonia Toppers Variety Show before going into teaching and later, radio broadcasting. He is the host of the popular public radio show “Whad’ya know?”
Steren graduated in 1969. He went on to graduate from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. He is the owner and operator of 11 McDonald’s restaurants in the Milwaukee area. He is also a dedicated volunteer, supporting groups including the United Way and the Milwaukee Jewish Federation.
