Jewish National Fund of Wisconsin launched its annual Goldie C. Perlson Community Blue Box Campaign in November. Close to 2,000 donation cards were mailed to JNF Blue Box holders and supporters throughout the state. Last year’s campaign raised $27,000.
This year, proceeds from the campaign will benefit JNF’s community development work, specifically the “Go North” initiative. “Go North” aims to attract and retain 300,000 new residents in Israel’s Galilee region, strengthen the economic and social quality of the region, relieve the congestion in the center of Israel, and, with “Blueprint Negev,” transform outlying areas of Israel into co-equal centers of Israeli society.
