JFM to give first Stein Award at annual meeting

          The Jewish Federation of Madison will present its first Andrea J. Stein Jewish Community Professional Award at its 2014 annual meeting.

          The event is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 16, 4 p.m., at the Goodman Jewish Community Campus, 7762 County Highway PD, Verona.

          Receiving the award will be Faygie Matusof. She with her husband, Rabbi Yona Matusof, founded the Chabad House of Madison in 1980. In 2008, she started the Jewish Women’s Circle of Madison.

          The JFM will also present its Miriam Singer Sulman Young Leadership Award to Zach Galin, and will announce the winner of the Ben Minkoff Volunteer Award.
