Israel Bonds (Development Corporation for Israel) in Wisconsin will be celebrating its investors by showing the film “Above and Beyond: The Birth of the Israeli Air Force” on Monday, Nov. 3, 7 p.m., at the Marcus North Shore Theatre, 11700 N. Port Washington Rd.
The film focusses on a group of World War II pilots, mostly from the U.S., who volunteered to fight for Israel during it War of Independence and who thereby laid the foundation for the Israeli air force.
The documentary was produced by Nancy Spielberg, who will appear and answer questions about the film.
