New Shin Shin volunteers

Itamar Shahar (left) and Shani Ben Harosh are the new “Shin Shin” young Israel emissaries working this year in Milwaukee. The program, called “Sh’nat Sherut” (“Year of Service”), brings two high school graduates to the U.S. to perform a year of community service before they enter the Israel Defense Force. It is a collaborative effort between Jewish federations and the Jewish Agency for Israel’s Partnership2Gether project. Learn more about the program and the volunteers at MilwaukeeJewish.org.
