Madison discussion

On July 14, the eighth day of Operation Protective Edge, more than 75 members of the Madison Jewish community met at the Hillel Foundation University of Wisconsin to hear Nadav Shelef, the assistant professor of Israel Studies and an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science at UW-Madison, discuss events in Israel. The event was organized by Israel Fellow and Israel emissary to Madison Mickey Aziz Komar, and community partners included the Jewish Federation of Madison, Temple Beth El, Beth Israel Center, Congregation Shaarei Shamayim and the Madison Jewish Community Day School.
