Two officials of the Israeli Givat Haviva organization spoke in Milwaukee during the weekend of June 20-22. This organization, founded in 1949, seeks to make Israel a “shared society” through battling prejudice and promoting democracy, peace and social solidarity. Mohammad Darawshe (left), director of planning, equality and shared living, and Yaniv Sagee, chief executive officer, spoke at Congregation Sinai and (as shown above) at the home of Nancy and Max Samson.
