Music highlighted in June at SCC

          Music is highlighted in June at the Sarah Chudnow Campus in Mequon, with a wide variety of performers and musical styles.

          Bob Ropiak — singer, musician and storyteller — will perform “toe-tappin’ favorites” as a one-man-band on Sunday, June 1, 2 p.m.

          On Sunday, June 8, 2 p.m., Sarah Chudnow favorite Terry Morganroth returns to sing the hits of the 40s, 50s and 60s.

          The summer evening concert series kicks-off Wednesday, June 11, 7 p.m., with Milwaukee’s own Frogwater, doing a mix of Celtic, American, old-time, bluegrass, Cajun and blues music.

          On Sunday, June 15, 2 p.m., Papi Makeana performs traditional, contemporary and classic pop tunes, as well as audience requests.

          On Sunday, June 22, 2 p.m., Festival European Musical Group will entertain with old world guitar and accordion music.

          The summer evening music series continues when Lil’ Rev takes the stage on Wednesday, June 25, 7 p.m. His repertoire includes old-time blues, Tin Pan Alley music, Yiddish and American folksong.
