JCC hires Murray
as aquatics director
Michael Murray has been hired as the new aquatics director of the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center. Murray joins the JCC after serving for seven years as aquatics director for the Village of Bensenville in Illinois.
Originally from Illinois, Murray, 28, began lifeguarding at age 15 and is trained in American Red Cross procedures. He also owns his own aquatics consulting company.
During his 13 years as an aquatics professional, he has coached high school swimming and spring board diving, and has trained state level competitors.
