Minkoff named to Hadassah board

          Deborah Minkoff of Madison is one of five new members of the board of the Hadassah Foundation.

          According to a news release of March 13, the foundation’s mission is “to augment the work of Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, by improving the status, health and well-being of women and girls; bring their contributions, issues and needs from the margins to the center of Jewish concern; and encourage and facilitate their active participation in decision-making and leadership in all spheres of life.”

          Minkoff is a long-time Hadassah volunteer. She currently chairs the Hadassah Leadership Fellows and is a national Hadassah board member. She is a past president of the Madison chapter and the Great Lakes Region. She is also president of the Jewish Federation of Madison.
