Debbie A. Callif of the Milwaukee area has been appointed vice chair of the fundraising committee of the International Pelvic Pain Society.
Callif is an occupational therapist working at the Continence & Pelvic Wellness Clinic, located in Mequon, and is a board member and instructor for the Biofeedback Certification Institute of America. This clinic provides therapy for patients with pelvic pain and bladder and bowel dysfunction.
The IPPS seeks to educate healthcare professionals on how best to serve patients with pelvic pain, to raise public awareness and to offer hope to the some 200 million people worldwide suffering chronic pelvic pain.
Jed Dolnick, chief of police in Jackson, was sworn in as president of the Wisconsin Chiefs of Police Association at its annual conference on Feb. 11.
Dolnick has served on the WCPA board of directors for three years and was elected third vice president in 2011. He will lead the association for the year 2014-2015.
He has been Jackson police chief for 13 years. He was featured in the April 6, 2001, Chronicle in an article about Jews in southeastern Wisconsin law enforcement.
