Annual Winter Brunch @ Temple Menorah on Sunday, Feb. 9, will feature Israel@65 with Ro’ee and Michal Peled, emissaries from Israel to Milwaukee.
The buffet will be served at 10 a.m. and be hosted by the Sisterhood and Men’s Club, with the program to follow.
Just in time for the Winter Olympics, the presentation “Sports and Society/Politics in Israel”will explore the origin of sports in Israel and how it was affected by the Israeli political structure and ideological views.
Synagogue members and the general public are welcome to attend. Admission is $10 for members, $13 for non-members. The deadline for reservations is Wednesday, Feb. 5.
