Tikkun Ha-Ir of Milwaukee distributed 2,600 gifts in late December througha Holiday Gifts for the Homelessproject.
Twenty-five knitters produced more than 700 hand knit hats and scarves. Chai Point donated 200 pieces jewelry from their recent sale. Congregation Sinai donated more than 100 toys. Congregation Beth Israel Ner Tamid donated blankets and socks.
In addition many people donated toiletries and other gift items. Eleven shelters, agencies and schools received the items just before Christmas.
