Jewish Family Services recently announced that Marina Shafranski, program manager, is the new contact person for the Kosher Mobile Meals program.
According to S. Michele Cohen, vice president of community based services at JFS, adding KMM to her responsibilities made sense as Shafranski currently manages Homecare and LinkAges, two other home-based programs for older adults.
KMM is available to anyone who would like to receive home delivered meals. Frozen meals are offered for $8 per meal, delivered on Thursdays and cooked under dietary supervision at the Jewish Home and Care Center. Holiday meals are also offered with special delivery dates. A sliding fee scale is available to assist those who cannot afford the full cost of meals.
