The Harry & Rose Samson Family JCC will be offering a free program in its “Exploring Jewish Genius” series on Sunday, Jan. 12, 4 p.m. Dr. Rachel Baum, associate professor of Jewish studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee will present a program about the comedic genius of Mel Brooks.
Brooks is one of the few individuals who have received the Emmy, the Oscar, the Grammy and the Tony award. Brooks wrote, acted in and directed many films, including “The Producers,” “Blazing Saddles” and “Young Frankenstein.”
