Rabbi Simkha Y. Weintraub is the rabbinic director of the National Center for Jewish Healing and of the New York Jewish Healing Center. He spoke at the Jewish Home and Care Center in the evening of Oct. 28 on “When Tomorrow Can’t Be Trusted: The Spiritual Journey of the Crisis of Chronic Illness.” He was also the keynote speaker at the regional meeting of the Chicago/Midwest Jewish Chaplains Group held earlier that day.
