Jewish author Charles Blackstone of Chicago will be reading from and signing copies of his new novel, “Vintage Attraction,” along with author and University of Michigan professor Douglas Trevor.
The event will take place at Boswell Book Company, 2559 N. Downer Ave., Milwaukee, on Thursday, Nov. 14, 7 p.m. This event is co-sponsored by the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center.
Blackstone’s novel tells how a wayward academic, Peter Hapworth, stumbles into the world of wine when he meets and falls in love with a celebrity sommelier, Izzy Conway.
