A concert commemorating the 75th anniversary of Kristallnacht is scheduled to take place at Wauwatosa East High School, 7500 Milwaukee Ave., Wauwatosa, on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 7 p.m.
Performing will be the Wauwatosa East HS Choir plus the adult choir of Congregation Shalom and Shalom’s Cantor Karen Berman.
Kristallnacht, the Night of Broken Glass, is the name given to the Nazi orchestrated anti-Jewish riots that took place in Germany Nov. 9-10, 1938, and was the most violent Nazi anti-Semitic act before the beginning of World War II in 1939.
