Chronicling History

This 1922 photograph shows a class at the Ninth Street School, located at Ninth St. and Sherman Blvd. The photograph was donated to the Jewish Museum Milwaukee by Beverly Colton, whose mother, Ida (nee Ross) Zilberbrand, is the girl in the second row from the top at right. This is the sixth in a series of historical photographs from Chronicle back issues or the JMM archives that will be presented in the coming months.
