The summer session of Kids in the Middle will begin on Monday, July 8, 6-7 p.m., at Jewish Family Services, 1300 N. Jackson St., Milwaukee.
The six-week program is free of charge and open to the entire community, regardless of faith, ethnicity, income or lifestyle.
KIM consists of group and individual counseling for children (ages 5-16) who are coping with family transitions, such as separation or divorce, or for children whose parents never married.
In the sessions, kids will use discussion, therapeutic games, books, art, and play therapy to help them learn to identify, understand and appropriately express their feelings.
For more information or to schedule an interview or consultation, contact the KIM intake coordinator at 414-225-1333. JFS is a licensed provider of Kids in the Middle.
