Yom HaZikaron

The Milwaukee Jewish community commemorated on April 15 Yom HaZikaron, Israel’s Memorial Day for the fallen in wars and terrorist attacks. The event at the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center included floral tributes laid by students from area day schools and congregational schools, and the singing by the Milwaukee Jewish Community Chorale, led by Enid Bootzin Berkovits, of David Burger’s setting of the prayer for the State of Israel.
